Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain cleanliness of public spaces in accordance with guest service and sustainability standards. The role supports the growth path from Room Inspector to Housekeeping Supervisor, with duties spanning cleaning, maintenance, and responding to guest requests.

The position requires standing for extended periods and adherence to safety and EarthView guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Previous related housekeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean all public areas including hard and textile surfaces and restrooms.
• Respond to guest requests in public spaces and maintain cleanliness.
• Ensure internal windows and doorways are free of fingerprints and smudges.
• Keep furniture and surfaces in public areas clean and organized.
• Sweep and mop floors, remove debris, and clean carpet spots as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of elevators and ensure waste receptacles are emptied.
• Clean employee break room and employee restrooms as required.
• Follow MSDS directions and keep updated with safety guidelines.
