Job summary

Hotel Bardo Savannah is seeking a detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. This role ensures the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel’s public spaces, creating the polished environment guests expect.

The ideal candidate takes pride in details, enjoys guest-facing settings, and understands hospitality across all hotel areas. Previous housekeeping experience in an upscale setting is preferred, with a warm and professional demeanor and strong grooming standards.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience in an upscale hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, polished spaces.
• Warm, professional demeanor with a genuine commitment to guest service.
• Ability to respond to guest requests professionally and efficiently.
• Excellent presentation and grooming standards.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of hotel public areas, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and other guest spaces.
• Interact warmly and professionally with guests while providing assistance as needed.
• Clean, maintain, and regularly inspect assigned areas throughout the shift.
• Restock public area supplies and amenities to ensure spaces remain guest-ready.
• Identify and report maintenance issues or areas requiring additional attention.
• Work closely with Housekeeping and other hotel teams to maintain Bardo’s standards of cleanliness and presentation.
