Public Area Attendant - Part Time (Finance)

Job Description Summary

The Public Area Attendant cleans and services assigned public areas according to established quality standards and procedures.

Principle duties and responsibilities (Essential Functions) include:

1. Operational/Functional

• Clean and service assigned areas according to established standards and procedures, which may include public restrooms, lobby area, public phone areas, vending areas, etc. May include cleaning employee break areas and restrooms.
• Strip and wax floors as needed, clean and polish all furniture, railings, tabletops, mirrors in assigned areas.
• Report to supervisor regarding needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Respond to guest complaints, handle special requests, and ensure corrective action is taken to achieve full guest satisfaction.

Strategy and Planning

• Monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimizing waste within all housekeeping areas.
• Report, log, and handle any lost and found items according to established procedures.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other duties as assigned.

Additional Job Information / Anticipated

Pay Range: $24.90 - $25.90, following contract requirements.
