Job summary

Ironworks Hotel Beloit is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain the lobby and public spaces, ensuring a clean, welcoming environment for guests. You’ll work as part of the Geronimo Hospitality Group team, following hotel standards and safety guidelines while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include cleaning with cleaners and equipment, tidying corridors, emptying trash, assisting with laundry, stocking closets, and keeping all public areas spotless.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of cleaning experience in restaurant, hotel or convention space.
• Must be able to speak English.
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills.
• U.S. Work Authorization (required).

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals, cleaners and cleaning equipment properly.
• Keeps all guest corridors neat, vacuumed and dusted; mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevator and linen storage rooms are clean.
• Removes all trash from public areas.
• Assist laundry by sorting linen for washing.
• Deep cleans floors of public areas.
• Ensures housekeeping closets on each floor are stocked.
• Keeps all work areas clean, organized and stocked.
• Clean all public areas to meet hotel standards.
