Qualifications

• One year of experience cleaning in a restaurant, hotel, or convention space.

Responsibilities

• Use chemicals, cleaners and cleaning equipment properly.
• Keep all guest corridors neat, vacuumed and dusted; ensure mirrors and furniture are clean.
• Remove all trash from public areas.
• Assist laundry by sorting linen for washing.
• Deep cleans floors of public areas.
• Ensure housekeeping closets on each floor are stocked.
• Keep work areas clean, organized and stocked.
• Clean all public areas to meet hotel standards.

YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS

As the Public Area Attendant, you are responsible for the overall cleanliness and organization of the hotel by maintaining public areas, assisting with basic housekeeping and laundry tasks, ensuring supplies are stocked, and helping uphold the hotel’s standards for a clean and welcoming environment.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

• Use chemicals, cleaners and cleaning equipment properly
• Keeps all guest corridors neat, vacuumed and dusted. Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, ashtrays, elevator, landing stairwells and linen storage rooms are clean
• Removes all trash from public areas
• Assist laundry by sorting linen for washing
• Deep cleans floor of public areas
• Ensures housekeeping closets on each floor are fully stocked
• Keeps all work areas are clean, organized and stocked
• Clean all public areas to meet hotel standards

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience and/or Training

• One year of experience cleaning in restaurant hotel or convention space, must be able to speak English, strong customer service and oral communication skills.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

• U.S. Work Authorization (required).
