The Courtyard by Marriott Chicago Midway Airport is seeking a Public Area Attendant to keep all lobby and public spaces clean, organized, and inviting. You will ensure restrooms, hallways, meeting spaces, and outdoor areas meet brand standards and guest expectations.

You will vacuum, mop, dust, and sanitize surfaces, empty trash, replenish supplies, and assist with setup for events. A team-oriented, reliable individual with attention to detail will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lobby, public restrooms, hallways, elevators, meeting rooms, fitness center, business center, and outdoor guest areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, polish, and sanitize assigned areas.
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners as needed.
• Replenish restroom supplies.
• Clean glass surfaces, windows, mirrors, and entry doors.
• Respond promptly to guest requests.
• Report maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
• Assist with meeting room setup and breakdown.
• Follow hotel safety, security, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping storage areas and equipment.
