Ponte Vineyard Inn is a AAA Four Diamond boutique hotel, offering a world-class experience surrounded by the beauty of Temecula Wine Country. As part of the Ponte Family Estate, we are committed to providing exceptional service, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to ensure that all guest-facing and back-of-house areas maintain a pristine and inviting appearance. This role is essential in upholding the high-quality presentation and hospitality experience that Ponte Vineyard Inn is known for.

Summary:

Under the direction of the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, the Public Area Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance, and overall presentation of all public spaces, including lobbies, restrooms, hallways, meeting areas, and outdoor spaces. This position plays a key role in exceeding guest expectations by creating a spotless and welcoming environment throughout the property.

Compensation: $19.00-$20.00 hourly

Schedule:

  • Weekends + Holidays required
  • Hours/Days vary based on hotel needs
  • Night shift (2:30pm-11:00pm)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational

  • Ensure all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, conference rooms, and outdoor spaces, are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, assisting with any inquiries or requests.
  • Monitor and promptly remove trash from the property, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment.
  • Assist with guest room cleaning as needed to support the housekeeping team.
  • Organize and maintain storage areas, reporting any shortages or issues to management.
  • Complete assigned deep-cleaning projects and scheduled monthly rotations.
  • Deliver guest-requested items promptly and assist with luggage transportation upon request.
  • Report and follow up on any maintenance issues in public areas to ensure swift resolution.
  • Assist with special projects and seasonal cleaning as directed by management.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and accident prevention procedures.

Administrative & Compliance

  • Maintain clear communication with the housekeeping team and leadership, reporting any issues or necessary follow-ups.
  • Ensure all lost and found items are reported and handled according to company policy.
  • Uphold the hotel’s brand standards and values, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
  • Monitor and report supply inventory, assisting in keeping areas stocked and organized.
  • Report guest concerns, unusual activity, or safety hazards to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager.
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality services preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as needed.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and safety protocols.
