About this position

Drift Palm Springs is a beautifully modern hotel with 39 rooms, ranging from studio rooms to 4‑bedroom suites, each equipped with full kitchens and panoramic views of the San Jacinto Mountains. We are searching for a Public Area Attendant to ensure the property remains pristine and welcoming. Availability for mornings and weekends is required.

About the role

The primary responsibility of the Public Area Attendant is to support the Housekeeping team by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of all public spaces. Duties include removing linen and trash from guest rooms, organizing storage areas, delivering requested amenities, and ensuring rooms are ready for check‑in.

What you'll do

• Keep outside areas clean and tidy.
• Empty trash for guest rooms and public areas.
• Deliver requested amenities, linens, and supplies to guest rooms.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel features, services, activities, and events to engage guests.
• Ensure all public areas are clean.
• Deliver lost and found items to the appropriate area.
• Communicate effectively with guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest and employee accidents and emergency procedures.
• Comply with all department policies, service procedures, and standards.
• Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
• Resolve guest complaints and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas.
• Keep storage areas and closets stocked and organized.

Qualifications

Salary
