Job summary

White Lodging is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain a clean, welcoming environment in hotel public spaces. You will support housekeeping in ensuring guests experience comfort and polish throughout the property.

The role involves cleaning public areas, restocking supplies, and assisting with lobby and pool maintenance, with opportunities for growth across multiple properties in the market.

Qualifications

• Shows initiative and self-motivation in an entry-level role.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills are required.
• Completion of training and certification sign-off.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and 25 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in providing the highest quality of service and cleanliness in the public areas of the hotel.
• Restock linen closets and storage rooms with linens and supplies.
• Strip guest rooms of linen and trash when necessary.
• Vacuum and/or mop hallways and stairwells.
• Maintain the lobby by cleaning the registration desk, vacuuming, and removing fingerprints from glass doors.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, floors, and replenish supplies as needed.
• Maintain the pool area by replenishing supplies, removing trash, cleaning tables and glass doors, checking spa water, and testing bromine levels.
• Clean and organize the exercise room by wiping equipment, mirrors, and glass doors, removing trash, and vacuuming.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
