AS A PUBLIC AREA ATTENDANT

As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of our public spaces, including hallways, restrooms, and the event pavilion. You will also assist the housekeeping team with various tasks as needed, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Clean and maintain public areas, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This includes vacuuming carpets, cleaning windows, dusting furniture, and emptying trash cans.
2. Maintain the cleanliness and proper stock of supplies in restrooms, including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.
3. Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, providing exceptional customer service. This may include delivering forgotten items to rooms, assisting with luggage, and answering general questions.
4. Assist the housekeeping team with tasks such as cleaning guest rooms, stocking carts, and stripping linens (as needed).
5. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including keeping housekeeping carts stocked and supplies organized.
6. Report any safety hazards or maintenance concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
7. Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

1. Prior cleaning experience preferred.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests from diverse backgrounds.
3. Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
5. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
6. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Additional education or training in hospitality is a plus.
7. Strong work ethic, with a positive and reliable attitude.
8. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
9. Fluency in English is a requirement. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
