Job summary

Sonesta Hotels International Corporation is seeking a Public Area Attendant in Columbus, OH. In this role you will help keep lobbies and public spaces clean, polished, and guest-ready across the hotel's front areas and amenities.

You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, restocking supplies, and responding to guest requests in a fast-paced hospitality setting. This position offers daily shift activity and opportunities to contribute to memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public spaces including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, meeting rooms, fitness centers, restaurants, and guest-facing areas.
• Ensure public areas remain clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready throughout shifts.
• Vacuum, dust, mop, sanitize, polish, and remove trash according to hotel cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Replenish restroom supplies, cleaning products, towels, amenities, and operational items as needed.
• Monitor public areas for cleanliness, safety concerns, maintenance issues, and operational readiness throughout the day.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, housekeeping calls, and operational support needs.
