Job Description Summary

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing assigned public areas according to established quality standards and procedures.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

1. Operational/Functional

• Clean and service assigned areas, including public restrooms, lobby, public phone areas, vending areas, employee break areas, and restrooms, following established standards and procedures.
• Strip and wax floors as needed; clean and polish furniture, railings, tabletops, and mirrors in assigned areas.
• Report repairs or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
• Respond to guest complaints and special requests, ensuring corrective actions are taken to achieve guest satisfaction.

Strategy and Planning

• Monitor and control supplies and amenities, minimizing waste across all housekeeping areas.
• Report, log, or turn in lost and found items according to procedures.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$24.90 - $25.90, following contract requirements.
