Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Boston is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our luxury team. You will keep guest corridors neat, assist room attendants, and ensure timely delivery of guest request items in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Ideal candidates read/write/speak English, can lift up to 40 pounds, push/pull carts, and have prior housekeeping experience. We offer a competitive hourly rate, complimentary meals, and the opportunity to experience Four Seasons

• Ability to lift boxes of up to 40 pounds and carry them for up to 15 feet.
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Keeps all guest corridors neat, vacuumed and dusted; mirrors, furniture, floors, elevators and doors clean and mark-free.
• Stocks linen closets and cabinets daily with supplies and amenities; empties trash and dirty linen from guest room floors.
• Assists room attendants as required; helps move beds and furniture, switching mattresses, removes or hangs window drapes.
• Picks up and delivers guest request items on a timely basis (irons, ironing boards, cribs, rollaway beds).
• Attending to and cleaning male facilities in both guest and employee areas.

The Role

• Keeps all guest corridors neat, vacuumed and dusted. Makes sure mirrors, furniture, floors, elevators and doors are clean and mark-free. Keeps all service elevator landings, stairwells and linen storage rooms clean by sweeping, mopping and dusting the areas.
• Stocks linen closets and cabinets daily with supplies and amenities. Empties trash and dirty linen from guest room floors.
• Assists room attendants as required. Helps move beds and furniture, switching mattresses, removes or hangs window drapes.
• Picks up and delivers guest request items on a timely basis such as irons, ironing boards, cribs and rollaway beds.
• Attending to and cleaning of male facilities in both guest and employee areas

Rate: $32.19 per hour

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to lift boxes of up to 40 pounds and carry them for up to 15 feet. Pushes or pulls a cart weighing up to 150 pounds for up to 75 feet.
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
