Job summary

White Lodging, launching Hotel Trinity in downtown Austin, seeks an entry-level hotel housekeeper to maintain cleanliness in public areas and assist with guest rooms. The role supports a luxury boutique environment with a guest-focused approach.

You will handle linens, assist in lobby upkeep, and ensure restroom, pool, and fitness areas meet high standards. This position emphasizes initiative, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Desire to take initiative in an entry-level role.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Completion of training and certification sign-off.
• Ability to lift up to 10 lbs regularly and 25 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist the team in providing the highest quality of service and cleanliness in the public areas of the hotel.
• Restock linen closets and storage rooms with linens and supplies.
• Strip guest rooms of linen and trash when necessary.
• Vacuum and/or mop hallways and stairwells.
• Maintain the lobby by cleaning the registration desk, vacuuming, and removing fingerprints from glass doors.
• Clean and maintain public restrooms, including sinks, toilets, floors, and replenish supplies as needed.
• Maintain the pool area by replenishing supplies, removing trash, cleaning tables and glass doors, checking spa water, and testing bromine levels.
• Clean and organize the exercise room by wiping equipment, mirrors, and glass doors, removing trash, and vacuuming.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
