Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience: five years' increasingly responsible experience in journalism, communications, and public relations.
• Public sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Communications in developing and executing a comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations program.
• Manage internal and external communications, overseeing materials, media relations, and publications.
• Serve as City Spokesperson and Emergency Public Information Coordinator during local emergencies.
