Qualifications

• Bring professional experience in government relations, financial policy or financial regulation.
• Experience working with corporate sector and in legislative/executive branches.
• Ability to translate policy developments into actionable guidance for senior executives.
• Proven ability to manage senior-level relationships and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and advance HSBC’s public policy positions in partnership with HSBC businesses and legal teams.
• Represent HSBC before Congress, the Executive Branch, regulators and trade associations.
• Provide strategic advice on policy and geopolitical developments to senior leadership.
• Coordinate meetings between HSBC executives and policymakers; translate developments into impact assessments.
