Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• 3+ years experience in government relations, stakeholder engagement, or public affairs.
• Strong understanding of local government structure and practices.
• Ability to prepare presentations across platforms.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Franchise Agreement Management: develop and implement plans to advance local initiatives and secure franchise agreements.
• Legislative Tracking & Policy Analysis: assist with tracking and analyzing pending state legislation; research impacts on energy.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Issue Management: prepare and track engagement activities and manage issues affecting the business.
• Community Engagement & Relations: coordinate local contributions and sponsorships to demonstrate company commitment.
• Economic Development Analysis & Customer Requests: review requests and ensure high-quality reports.
• Budget Management & Team Support: oversee department budget and provide team support.
