Boeckermann Grafstrom and Mayer (BGM) invites motivated accounting students to join the Summer 2028 Internship Program in Des Moines, IA. This hands-on internship runs May–August and averages about 30 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to fit coursework and commitments.

You’ll work on real client engagements, gain exposure to audits and tax, and receive ongoing coaching to build technical skills and professional confidence.

Competenze

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Interest in gaining experience in public accounting and client service.
• Available to work approximately 20–30 hours per week during the internship.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

Mansioni

• Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance engagements.
• Support tax return preparation and other tax-related projects.
• Collect and analyze client information and financial data.
• Assist engagement teams with identifying issues and communicating findings.
• Complete tax research and special projects as needed.
• Gain exposure to clients across a variety of industries.
• Work alongside team members at different levels of the Firm; and
• Build your accounting and industry knowledge through hands-on experience, coaching, training, and collaboration.
