Ideal candidates hold an active CPA license, have 7+ years in public accounting, and can manage multiple engagements in a deadline-driven environment. A master’s degree is preferred, with opportunities for growth and a potential hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Tax (Master's degree preferred).
• 7+ years of public accounting experience—ideal to have experience with trusts, estates, or nonprofit taxation.
• Strong familiarity with fiduciary accounting and tax regulations related to charitable organizations.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements in a deadline-driven environment.
• Interest or experience in developing new client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and review of tax filings for trusts, estates, individuals, partnerships, C-Corp, and tax-exempt organizations.
• Provide advisory support related to tax planning, compliance strategy, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and proactive guidance.
• Work closely with partners and internal teams to ensure engagement quality and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Review staff work and provide coaching to support professional growth.

Our client is looking to add a Sr.Tax Manager to their expanding team in Alpharetta or Gainesville. This role is designed for an experienced tax professional who enjoys working with trusts, estates, and nonprofit organizations while providing strategic tax planning to clients.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with a client-focused mindset, helping deliver exceptional service while contributing to the firm's continued growth.
