Job description

We are currently seeking skilled manufacturing professionals for a six-month contract opportunity based in Neenah, Wisconsin. This role offers a competitive compensation package of $36 per hour for PTH Operators, with additional openings for rework solder positions at $34 per hour.

PTH Operator

• Manage the operation of wave and selective soldering machinery to ensure high-quality plated through-hole board production.
• Utilize equipment such as Electrovert EC4/EC3 wave solder units and Ersa Versaflow 366/4XL selective solder systems, with a preference for candidates who can demonstrate proficiency and pass internal certification assessments.
• Execute wave soldering for single-sided component attachment and selective soldering for precise, targeted application on double-sided boards.
• Perform machine setups, load specific programs, verify profile settings, and adjust conveyor speeds, while escalating technical or quality concerns to the appropriate engineering or support staff.
• Maintain consistent production flow by monitoring equipment for alarms, managing flux and solvent levels, and performing essential daily maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Prepare boards for processing by manually inserting components according to assembly documentation, while remaining flexible to rotate between machine operation and manual stuffing duties as production needs dictate.

Production boards feature a variety of through-hole components, including resistors, capacitors, inductors, and transistors, with device counts typically spanning from 2 to 60 units per board.
