AFC Materials Group in Lake in the Hills, IL is seeking a Clamshell Fabricator to operate converting equipment and produce PTFE clamshell components, ensuring accurate cutting, quality, and inventory control.

You will handle edging, looping, packaging, and ERP-driven inventory transactions while adhering to safety standards and AFC's core values. Proficiency with Windows and Excel is required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Experience operating cutting equipment, material handling equipment, or converting machinery is a plus.
• Basic mathematical skills including working with weight, volume, distance, and currency.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and use basic written documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate material handling equipment to transport and position material rolls.
• Set up and operate cutting equipment to produce clamshell components per specs.
• Inspect incoming and in-process materials for quality.
• Loop clamshell parts using looping equipment.
• Apply edging to PTFE rolls and prepare finished products for storage or shipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform ERP transactions.
• Perform basic maintenance and use Windows/Excel for production tasks.
