Job Summary / Basic Function

Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.

Job Duties

• Reports to the Division Chair of Communications and Fine Arts
• Teaches Music classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods

College benefits do not accrue with this part-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Music or a master’s degree with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours in music from a regionally accredited college or university
• Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution
• Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern Association (SACS) minimum educational credentials are met
