BRAZOSPORT COLLEGE is seeking part-time Adjunct Instructors for Business related classes on an as-needed basis. Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Business or a related field, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Responsibilities include teaching using traditional and alternative methods, while reporting to the Dean of Business, Technology & Online Programs.

This role does not include benefits and is contingent upon college needs each semester.

Job Summary

Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.

Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part-time basis.

Academic departments will contact potential applicants when there are available openings.

Job Duties

• Reports to the Dean of Business, Technology & Online Programs
• Teaches Business related classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods

College benefits do not accrue with this part-time position.

Physical Demands

Able to traverse campus, lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, reaching, handling, fine dexterity, bending, vision, hearing, and talking.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Business or a master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in business courses from a regionally accredited college;
• Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution;
• Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration as long as Southern Association (SACS) minimum educational credentials are met
