Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in dispensing medications, entering patient data into pharmacy systems, and maintaining accurate inventory. You will assist customers, handle cash, and help ensure accuracy and compliance with policy.

Responsibilities include filling prescriptions, reviewing for interactions, processing third-party claims, and maintaining quality improvement practices. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing and labeling prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Assist with inventory management and QA activities in the Pharmacy Department.
• Handle cash register and assist customers with locating products.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in analyzing data and improving performance.
• Process third party claims and perform clerical duties as assigned.
