Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Manager and staff pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions, handling patient information, and maintaining accurate records. You will assist in inventory controls and cashier duties while upholding Walgreens service standards for a positive customer experience.

The role requires a PTCB/ExCPT credential, English fluency, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Competenze

• PTCB or ExCPT certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least one year of experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Assist in pharmacy under supervision of a pharmacist.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications.
• Verify accuracy and check for possible interactions.
• Assist scheduling and maintaining pharmacy workflow.
• Handle cash register and guide customers to OTC items.
• Process non-Pharmacy calls and third-party claims.
• Lead inventory management: ordering, unpacking, storing medicines.
• Analyze Rx KPIs with Store Manager and Healthcare Supervisor.
• Coordinate with Walgreens clinics and external providers.
