Walgreens Co. seeks a pharmacy technician to assist pharmacists in a fast-paced retail environment in Texas. You will enter patient and drug data, fill prescriptions, and help manage inventory and workflow to ensure accuracy and patient safety.

Responsibilities include supporting clinical services, handling cash, and assisting in customer service while maintaining compliance with policy and safety standards.

Formación

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Under pharmacist supervision, assist in pharmacy practice per policy and code of conduct.
• Enter patient and drug information using pharmacy systems; verify accuracy and interactions.
• Fill prescriptions, retrieve/count/pour medications, and ensure correct dispensing.
• Assist with scheduling/workflow, inventory management, and reporting errors.
• Handle cash transactions, direct customers to OTC products, and support pharmacy team.
• Support clinical services coordination with Walgreens Healthcare clinics and external providers.
