Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our in-store pharmacy team. Under direct supervision, you will assist the pharmacist, help process prescriptions, and support pharmacy operations in line with company policies.

You will use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, assist trainees if PTCB certified, and contribute to delivering a distinctive and courteous customer experience while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• PTCB certification required or pursued for promotion to senior technician.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other duties per policy.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Coaching and guiding technicians in pharmacy system operation if PTCB certified.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Manage inventory, cash handling, and assist with clerical duties as assigned.
