Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and support store operations. You will engage customers, handle cash, and help maintain accurate inventory while following all regulatory and company policies.

Ideal candidates have retail experience, basic math and computer skills, and PTCB certification or training. This on-site role requires flexibility for evenings/weekends and prior Walgreens exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of retail experience preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Good computer skills and knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and other Pharmacy Department duties.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist pharmacists and technicians.
• Handle cash and operate cash registers; assist customers and direct them to OTC aisles.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers and healthcare providers.
• Support pharmacy team with clerical tasks and adherence to policies.
