Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and handling pharmacy operations. You will engage customers, enter patient and drug information, and support cash register activity within a Walgreens store.

Ideal candidates have strong math and computer skills, familiarity with pharmacy systems, and a willingness to work evenings or weekends. Prior experience and PTCB certification are preferred but not always required.

• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and entering patient and drug information.
• Handle cash deposits and operation of the cash register.
• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers to enhance the Walgreens experience.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and stocking pharmaceuticals.
• Support pharmacy staff in coordinating clinical services and pharmacy operations.
