Job summary

Walgreens in Walnut Creek, CA is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision, handling patient and drug information and processing prescriptions using pharmacy systems.

You will support customer experience by greeting customers, resolving issues, and helping with store operations, cash handling, and inventory, while maintaining compliant workflow and Good Faith Dispensing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment is preferred.
• Prior Walgreens experience is preferred.
• Good math and computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other Pharmacy Department duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Assist with and coach pharmacy technicians and cashiers as applicable.
• Provide excellent customer service and deliver a distinctive customer experience.
• Maintain inventory and assist with pharmacy operations and daily tasks.
