Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Support/Technician role in the United States. Under direct supervision, you will assist the pharmacist in dispensing and related duties, using pharmacy systems to manage patient information and prescriptions.

You will help customers, handle cashiers, and support inventory and clinic tasks as needed. The role emphasizes accurate medication handling, excellent customer service, and collaboration with the pharmacist and store team to maintain quality and safety

Qualifications

Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Six months of experience in a retail environment (preferred).
Prior Walgreens experience (preferred).
Good math skills for counting, measuring and weighing medications.
Good computer skills and inventory control knowledge.

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and assist with cash registers as needed.
Deliver a distinctive customer experience and engage customers for help with products and services.
Enter patient and drug information and check for possible interactions.
Support inventory management and pharmacy operations as directed by management.
