Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician under the supervision of a pharmacist to assist with daily pharmacy operations, including entering patient data, processing prescriptions, and ensuring accuracy and safety in dispensing.

You will interact with customers to deliver a high-quality service experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, compliance with standards, and ongoing training, including potential PTCB certification; weekend/evening shifts may be required to support store operations

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist, under supervision, in practice of pharmacy and related duties per company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians and cashiers as applicable.
• Deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Greet customers, assist with products, resolve issues and build relationships with valued customers.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately, fill prescriptions, check for interactions and maintain workflow.
• Handle cash register duties, process third party claims, and support inventory and clerical tasks.
• Assist with clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers as required.
