Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support pharmacists under supervision in dispensing and pharmacy operations within our Perry Park, NC location. You will help enter patient and drug information, assist with prescriptions, and maintain accurate records while ensuring a safe, friendly customer experience.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, addressing questions, supporting inventory management, and helping with in-store services.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math and counting skills for dispensing medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and processing prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and verify accuracy.
• Greet customers and help with product questions to support a positive experience.
• Support inventory management and cash register operations.
• Report prescription issues to the pharmacist on duty.
