Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior Walgreens experience preferred.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring, weighing medications.
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and follow company policies.
• Use pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians if PTCB certified.
• Provide a distinctive, delightful customer experience and greet customers.
• Enter information accurately, fill prescriptions, verify accuracy and interactions, and assist with workflow.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist and follow policy regarding dispensing.
• Handle sales on the cash register and assist customers to OTC aisles.
• Process manual third-party claims and perform related clerical duties.
• Assist with inventory management, unpacking, stocking, and loss control.
• Support clinical services coordination and data collection as required.
• Maintain relationships with local medical community and healthcare providers.
• Keep Pharmacy Department clean, stocked, and compliant with policies.
• Complete special assignments as needed.
