Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision and support store operations. You will handle prescription processing, patient interactions, cash handling, and inventory tasks in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Six months of experience in a retail environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in entering patient and drug information and processing prescriptions.
• Engage customers, answer questions, and provide a positive customer experience.
• Handle cash transactions and assist with store cash registers as needed.
• Support inventory management and shelving of pharmaceuticals and related products.
• Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to coordinate care as required.
• Participate in training and continuing education as requested by management.
