Job summary

Responsibilities

Assist the pharmacist in pharmaceutical care for the hospital.
Prepare and process medications under pharmacist supervision.
Check nursing units for proper medication storage; perform bulk compounding; record information for validation by the pharmacist.
Order, stock, and transport pharmaceutical supplies as needed.
Respond to patients, families, visitors, and employees courteously.
Demonstrate age-specific competencies and maintain patient confidentiality.
