The PTC Windchill PLM reboot establishes the foundation for managing a product portfolio of more than 120,000 parts, increasing product complexity, and expanding engineering and manufacturing requirements.

However, the platform cannot deliver its full value without a dedicated software engineer to automate PLM processes and connect Windchill with MDM, sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, and downstream order-execution systems.

The proposed role will deliver AI-native workflows for part creation, BOM generation, and engineering change management while building the integration capabilities required for end-to-end product-data flow. This investment is essential to reduce manual engineering effort, improve data quality, accelerate NPI, and ensure that the new PLM platform operates as part of a connected enterprise ecosystem.
