ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and deliver end‑to‑end solution architecture for Windchill and Navigate implementations
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure and high‑performance solutions
- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture standards and best practices
- Conduct design reviews, solution validation and technical governance
- Implement and configure Windchill modules (PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink)
- Design and deploy PTC Navigate applications relying on ThingWorx
- Configure workflows, lifecycles and business rules
- Drive performance optimization and scalability improvements
Integration & Data Management
- Define and implement integrations with ERP systems, CAD tools (Creo, AutoCAD, etc.) and Manufacturing systems (MES)
- Ensure seamless data flow and consistency across systems
- Establish robust data models and PLM data governance practices
Digital Thread Enablement
- Support implementation of digital thread across product lifecycle
- Enable traceability from design to manufacturing and service
- Drive standardization of engineering and product data
Security & Compliance
- Implement role‑based access control and secure data handling
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulations
- Collaborate with cybersecurity teams for secure solution design
Stakeholder Management & Delivery
- Collaborate with business, engineering and IT teams
- Act as a technical advisor for PLM initiatives
- Drive solution delivery across projects and ensure quality outcomes
- Mentor developers and guide technical teams
Emerging Capabilities (Good to Have)
- Exposure to AI/analytics integration with PLM systems
- Understanding of DevOps/MLOps practices in PLM deployments
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong experience (5–10+ years) in PTC Windchill (PDMLink, MPMLink, ProjectLink)
- Experience in PTC Navigate / ThingWorx application development
- Hands‑on experience in PLM configuration, customization and deployment
- Knowledge of integration technologies (REST APIs, middleware)
- Familiarity with database systems and data modeling
Architecture & Enterprise Skills
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Engineer
- Understanding of enterprise systems architecture and integration patterns
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Knowledge of DevOps/CI‑CD processes
Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Exposure to engineering and manufacturing processes
- Awareness of digital thread concepts
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work across global teams
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making abilitiesLeadership and mentoring capability
Qualifications
- Experience in global enterprise rollout programs
- Exposure to regulated environments (ITAR, compliance‑heavy industries)
- Certifications: PTC Windchill, Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), Architecture frameworks (TOGAF – nice to have)
