Job summary

Eatonton Health & Rehab seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to join our non-profit rehabilitation team in Georgia. You will support patient care under supervision, assist with treatment plans and documentation, and collaborate with therapists to deliver high-quality care.

In this role you will apply current rehabilitation guidelines, participate in education activities, maintain accurate records, and contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment in a community health setting.

Qualifications

• At minimum, possess an Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy.
• Possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to a positive work team by sharing information and problem-solving.
• Supports activities as introduced by Rehabilitation Services.
• Demonstrates superior customer service with courtesy and follow-up.
• Utilizes continuing education to improve quality.
• Collaborates with supervising Physical Therapist and Rehabilitation Director.
• Maintains up-to-date clinical knowledge through seminars and journals.
• Promotes safe working practices.
• Reports for scheduled work periods on time.
• Contributes to committees and project teams.
