Job summary

Synchrony Rehab is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting at our Louisville location. You will implement treatment plans, monitor patient responses, and provide at-home exercise guidance to support progress.

The role requires a PTA degree, licensure, and CPR certification (preferred). 0–1 years of experience is typical. Competitive benefits and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Experience: 0-1 years.
• Licenses: Must have and maintain a current PTA licensure or certification; CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities (e.g., heat, cold, electrical stimulation).
• Observe patient responses to therapy, document progress, and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Observe and maintain up-to-date documentation related to patients’ responses to therapy, report progress to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercise techniques, safety precautions, and progress at home.
• Support Physical Therapists in evaluating patient needs and progress, providing additional observations and insights.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
