Job summary

Synchrony is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support treatment plans under the direction of a Physical Therapist in an interdisciplinary setting. The PTA will administer therapeutic interventions and document patient responses as part of a collaborative care team.

Requirements include a degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program and current state PTA licensure; CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, valid state PTA license or certification.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Observe and document patient responses to therapy and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of patient responses and progress for the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Provide instructions to patients and families on exercise techniques and safety precautions.
