The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work with Physical Therapists to deliver high-quality therapy services aimed at improving mobility, strength, independence, and overall resident well-being.

The PTA role emphasizes resident-centered care, teamwork, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration within a care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training.
• Monitor progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Document treatments and resident responses accurately.
• Assist with gait, transfer, balance, and strengthening activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean therapy environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support goals.
• Educate residents and families about therapy programs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
