Job summary

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license in good standing.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or rehab setting preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Resident-focused approach with strong organization and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises and mobility training to residents.
• Monitor resident progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Accurately document treatments and resident responses in accordance with guidelines.
• Assist with gait training, transfer training, balance activities, and strengthening exercises.
• Maintain a safe, clean therapy environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support resident goals.
• Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and exercises.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
