Autumn Hills Healthcare Center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in California. The PTA will provide patient care within the scope of practice under federal guidelines and the established plan of care.

Salary ranges from $85,280 to $104,000 per year, with PRN/on-call duties and a sign-on bonus. Benefits include PTO and referral bonuses. The successful candidate will hold an Associate degree and California PTA license and have clinical experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant issued by the state of California.

Responsabilidades

• Administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct clinical treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• May participate with home assessments, simulated or actual as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment along with PT/OT as needed.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
