The PTA will carry out skilled treatment programs under a licensed Physical Therapist and keep accurate documentation of patient activities and charges, while maintaining respectful communication with patients and medical staff. The role requires CAPTE-accredited PTA/PT program graduate status, current state licensure and CPR certification, and the ability to lift 50 pounds and

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited PTA or PT program.
• Current valid State license/registration and CPR certification.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds independently and stand/walk for most of a shift.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and active listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out skilled treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record patient activities and charges using medical terminology in a timely fashion.
• Maintain respectful dialogue with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Adhere to State Practice Acts, OSHA standards, and Medicare regulations.
