Rolling Hills Health & Rehab in Topeka, Kansas is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. You will work with the Physical Therapy Director to develop and implement individualized plans for residents, assisting with exercises and modalities to improve mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities include evaluating and updating treatment plans, educating residents and families on body mechanics, fall prevention, and healthy living strategies, while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance required.
• Post-graduate certification as a PTA requested.
• Valid PTA license in Kansas required.
• 2+ years of PTA experience in SNF/rehab/long-term care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist with evaluations, treatments and progress notes.
• Implement and adapt treatment programs to residents' needs.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
