Job summary

Powerback is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-facility rehabilitation services under the supervision of the Director of Rehab. You will help patients recover and improve function through structured PT programs and treatments.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration with the rehab team, and ongoing professional development, including mentorship, CEUs, and growth within Powerback’s clinical programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.
• Address the whole patient and see them as an individual, executing programs to restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities.
• Collaborate with the rehab team and make referrals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Provide compassionate, high-quality service to patients and families.
