Job summary

Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Conroe is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Conroe, TX, on a PRN basis. The PTA will provide physical therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support patients with complex medical needs.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate’s degree from a PTA program, possess a current PTA license, CPR certification, and rehab or acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree from a PTA program.
• Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Support patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean treatment environment.
