Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Conroe on a PRN basis. The PTA will provide physical therapy under a licensed PT, helping patients regain mobility and function in a long-term acute care setting.

Qualifications include an Associate's degree from a PTA program, current PTA license in Texas, and CPR certification.

Cornerstone Specialty Hospitals Conroe is a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) located at 1500 Grand Lake Drive in Conroe, Texas. It's designed for patients who are medically complex and require extended recovery time-often following a stay in a traditional hospital ICU.

• Specialized Care: Treats serious conditions like respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, complex wounds, and congestive heart failure. Many patients need ventilators, dialysis, or IV therapy.
• Multidisciplinary Team: Offers intensive and telemetry-level care with a team of physicians, nurses, and therapists who create personalized treatment plans.
• Joint Commission Accreditation: Recognized for high-quality, evidence-based care in long-term acute treatment, with a focus on continuous improvement

How You'll Contribute

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.
