Job summary

Lifepoint Health, in partnership with CHRISTUS Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Longview, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The role supports restoring function and improving mobility under supervision, contributing to patient care in a private-room rehabilitation setting.

Qualified candidates have an Associate's degree in PTA, an active PTA license, CPR certification, and ideally rehab or acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree from a PTA program.
• Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
